Welcome to Ingram Elementary!

Thank you for visiting the Ingram Elementary School website! Our campus offers Pre-Kindergarten classes for 3 year olds, Pre-K for 4 year olds, Kindergarten and we also have a Pre-K Program for children with disabilities. Each day we enjoy fun and exciting activites while our entire staff is focused on providing the best education possible for our students. We are committed to continuosuly improving our standard of teaching and to go the extra mile in making sure your children have the best foundation possible for their learning adventure through the school years.

In order to provide and maintain a safe environment for our students and staff, all visitors to our building must check in at the office and present identification. Ferris schools use the V-Soft computer system which scans the drivers license of all visitors. In addition, any person who attends a field trip with a class must have a criminal history form filled out, turned in and processed in order to have permission to supervise children.

Parents, friends and members of the community are always welcome to visit, eat lunch and become actively involved in our student's education. Volunteering is a great way to help support the staff and students here. We encourage you to help out with the many projects necessary to make the school day intriguing and memorable. You will leave here satisfied by a day well spent should you choose to volunteer!

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

I am very excited about the start of this
school year! These are some of the things
I will be doing for you and your children
this year:
*guidance lessons: Throughout the year
I will work with all classes on character,
safety, and social skills.  This month I will
be talking to all children about following
rules and showing RESPECT to ourselves
and others. I will also begin a unit on
feelings.

*counseling: I work with children
individually and in small groups when
necessary. If you feel your child would
benefit from counseling, please contact
me by phone or note.

*character development: RESPECT
will be the character word this month.

Later in the year we will also learn about
HONESTY, RESPONSIBILITY, CARING,
and COOPERATION.
I am excited about
this year and look forward to working with
you and your children!
